I don\'t only paint orks.
This is a test model for my Tau city fight army. I had to completely rethink the colour scheme when I got halfway through the unit and ran out of paint. Popped down to GW to buy some more only to discover that they no longer make it!!!!!!!!
Stripped the unit last night and started again from scratch. I must confess, though, I do prefer these colours.

Great colors and ace marks for work. Kester... you\'ve been holding out on us! This work is very good and if you paint an army to this standard then woopity!

One crit.. the highlight across the shoulder seems to be the same color as the greenish. looks a litte out to my eyes.

Good stuff.

Ah the test unit... funny how they never turn into an army, or maybe that just me anywho

I agree it looks nice, I particularly like the symbols on the helmet, its a good contrast to the grey.

Crit: Id suggest using a dif color to highlight the green (cause it almost looks like u used bleached bone or some whitish color). it seems to close to the grey unless that was your intention. in that case ignore me.

What was the colour, as the Vallejo Game range (easily available in Bolton ;) ) still has all the colours prior to the release of the foundation paints, and dropping of some colours.
It wouldn\'t be that difficult to arrange a trip. Hey you managed to use the Bolton GW Gamesday bus. :)

Where do they sell them in Bolton, Mike, is it that little model shop? Yes I was on the Bolton GW Games Day Bus and we were stood next to each other waiting to get in. That was when I found out about this place.

I paint my thumb.
Nice color scheme, I like the \'natural\' feel to it.
I echo the comment about the highlights and add that some darklining would help near the base, cause he seems to be melting into it.

Well there are` two \"model shops\" in Bolton It\'s the one furthest out of the town centre nearest to the motorway.
Great guy just needs to do something about the state of his shop before The Health & Safety Executive declare it a disaster zone..

The little railway shop? I\'ll have to pop down and have a look, But seeing as I blew my \"mini-budget\" last night buying a light box and some small studio lights...
This will either improve my scores by showing how good I am, OR reduce my scores when I can no longer hide my dodgy shading behind poorly lit pics!lol
