So I got myself another distraction from the lovely people of wargamesworkshop this time, ordered at midnight on tuesday here on thursday morning, can't ask for better. This tim eit's something different again a nice chunky jack to mess around with and dirty up a bit lol

inside you get the cards for all four jacks you can make and all the parts sealed in a funny lil baggy chain.

Got all the bits out that I needed leaving loads to spare.

It has to be said whilst the detail is generally crisp and they haven roughly taken of most of the injection lugs, where they have used multiple piece moulds the mould lines tend to converge around detail making them awkward to remove.

It should be noted these are like the resin from the basing kits than actual plastic so super glue is need. This is how far i've gotten some cleaning up still needed.

I particularly like the little lugs on the legs as they go together even without glue so should be nice and strong.

Overrall a nicely detailed kit with only a few minor issues looking forwarding to getting on with this.

Damn, this made me even more interested in the "elves" faction... :) It looks like privateer's plastic kits are fun to play with.

Phoar! Nice shiny shoes! Ma always said you can judge a robot by his shoes!
Decent start man, keep it going! Was this shipped from 'merica or a local GS? , i've no idea where Wargamesworkshop is... I've been frantically seking the full line of P3 paints and I can't seem to find 'em anywhere over here *sigh*

So still got to get the axe and some pipe work sorted as well as the rust, chipping soot etc. A base might be a good idea at some point as well. Hoping to get this done by the end of the weekend.

I've got a finished Khador starter set in metal and bought the same thing in resin just to do an A -B. I lost interest after half an hour of cleaning up but this has inspired me to crack on. It's amazing how the exhausts, which looked rough when unpainted, now look much more realistic...the imperfections actually help;)

well a very long grand prix and a lot of alcohol, plus sexually harassing my neighbour meant I didnt get this finished. however it does now have a base.

Oooh I'm interested in seeing the metallics and highlighting red. Red is very hard for me so should be interesting cheers! Dare I ask how it went with the neighbour? lol
