Hope I pulled off a decent weathered look without any powders. Lots of fun these jacks. Tried Mr komets base painting as well tho I think I got it a little wrong. Think I got sniped for some reason as the score went really really low at first. Not sure why, I don't think I've offended anyone, plus its not on auction. Oh well, chalk it up to another of life's little mysteries.

elgazzo, I've looked at your scores in case there was any evidence of someone sniping you, which there wasn't.
What I did see was that the majority of your score distributions are clustered in the 5,6,7 range.

To me that is suggesting people are regarding you work as above tabletop but needing something extra to push it forward.

Pics are crap, i think you could do much better with well balanced photos (the middle one is clearly much darker), a decent background (just print out a white-blue fade on some a4) and some matte to kill the gleam, that said you may like the slight sheen the red has - I'll wager it looks nice irl although a little too shiny in the photos

Yeah the pics are really bad. Thats what I get for being inpatient. Ty for checking the score thing dragonsreach. I wasn't sure if I pissed someone off unintentionally.

That is some extreme weathering, good effect. I am gettig ready to get back on this warjack next myself.

Did you paint him fully assembled? I am and am having a heck of a time getting to the back of the gun to do it justice. Also doesn't help that i am going with a white scheme.

It looks well painted but as has already been said, the photos don't display it well. I'm not judging the photos as such but having bad ones doesn't show your work and I can't see the nice effects and details I suspect you have done. Sorry.
