Khorne Bloodletter: Glaze or Not?!

Aloha,

first of all, I'm not a pro-painter.
I'm paintin just for fun, so please be gently :male-fighter2:

So here is my question....
I started a "Khorne Bloodletter", wich is almost finished.
The thing is Gw uses the "Glaze - Bloodletter" and I'm not sure if this paint will mess up my Mini or make it better.
Actually I do not wanna risk it :D

Can you please help me and give any advice?

it won't mess it up. It'll just change some of the orangey highlights to a stronger, purer red.
So if you apply it thinly it won't make any problems at all. On the other hand if you like how it looks now, then it's not really needed.

Its quite strong, it mess it up though but will probably make it a more vibrant red, for reference here's a mini I used it on recently, the clothing was painted with scale 75 skin colours (reddish purples up through skin tones to almost white) then given a generous coat of blood letter glaze (maybe even 2 coats) and finally some agrax earthshade in the shadows, on this mini it worked alot like an ink since it wasn't red at all until I use the blood letter glaze

On your mini it should bring all the colours closer to reds but you might want to take the highlights up higher because the blood letter glaze might bring them too close to the mid tones, also I've found it can look a bit chalky so once I was done I went over it with lahmian medium (the blood letter glaze dried much more matte than the other areas so I used the medium on its own to give a more unified finish all over) hope this helps
