Hi this is the Mounted Khorne i put up on the site and it was suggetsed to me to dry and darken the gold abit, i have tried using Ogryn wash which didnt really seem to make that much difference, anyone has any suggestions? Below is a picture of the gold after the wash

By drying I guess they mean killing the shiny effect in the shadows? Apply washes of brown, like you did, in the shadows, maybe even some purple! Gives it more contrast between the matt dark shadows and the shiny bright light zones.

Really like the blood effects btw! How did you do them?

I really like the dark look. It's very sinister. The eye on the beast is very cool.

The base edge could use some attention.

Sorry, I liked the 'shiny' version of the collar better....

I agree the dark look is very cool for Khorne. For my two cents, the larger flat areas on the model (be they gold or red/black) start to look a little flat. possibly mixing a slightly lighter version of these basecoats would give more depth to these large areas. Otherwise, awesome! I'll definitely be using that blood effect.

Not bad, really fits Khorne. Maybe you could work a bit more on your metals. The blood is cool looking.
