Welcome aboard Kretcher! And looking good tomy. I can't see any mouldlines, so if you just photo him from this angle you'll be fine (plus you only have to paint half him: bonus!).

I could not resist to start this instead of finishing my striking scorpions i have spent 3 to 4 hours today to paint and have more or less reach a conclusion on the skin part :)
Much more work needed to make things smoother later on but Happy so far. (soon I will overwork it and hopefully not destroy it :) )

Hi Kretcher, yes it is already done! I communicate with Figone for each of my order ;) I know JBT is alone and provide a really good service. He will check when back to France and send me new one if I didn't get the shipment in between. Everything is fine but I will be delayed a lot, and soon Xmas and travel plans so It will be hard to paint anything :(

Ugh, hope it gets here ok boubi.

Right, Mr Maulgy has some paint on him! Just basic base coating on his skin, that's all.

Little bit of shading and depth work on his skin (mainly his chest and stomach, the arm's nowhere near finished). I'm thinking the contrast is too high, but it's early days yet!

I like that coal black as a skin shadow. Very nice.

Ketcher and dazzler your skins are taking nice shape as well.

Super nice start! Airbrush first, right?
Good skin tones, I was looking for something similar, greenish and de-saturated pink. Cannot wait to see the rest!

Gosh, no: I wouldn't know where to start with an airbrush. The pink and cream are really watered down and sort of stippled on in multiple layers until they form a nice graduation: with green stippled back on if the transition is too strong. Hope that makes sense?

Right, a bit more shading done. I think the colours are right, but he's still messy to my novice eye. I think I need to be more clean and careful with my brush strokes...

Bit bit of an experiment on his shoulders, trying to suggest a scaly hide. Needs more contrast - and ignore the livid scars, I absolutely hate them. Need to be much more subtle.
