If you want your images to show on the post, then copy and paste the bit under the photo.

As for the model, the cloak and helmet are awesome! Could you tell us how you did them?

solved the picture problem! it seemed that it tried to insert a smilie in to the pic because the name had unintentionally \"lol\" in the middle of it :D

thanks! the cloak was done with a basecoat of black and GW fortress grey, then blended up to pure fortress grey and then from there to white.
and the helmet was done with a basecoat of black, GW regal blue and white which was blended towards white (a big surprise, eh? lol )

sorry that i cant give you exact ratios as i do everything by eye, if you know what i mean :(

I think you have too much blood. A little splatter tells a better story IMHO. Otherwise very good.

i will make his shoe or whatever bloody so it will appear that he has stomped or kicked someone who has been on the ground (this because what i have understood from vladar\'s fluff is that he\'s a very, very brutal and merciless dude) :)
and the bigger blood stain because maybe he has kneeled down to the blood pool to pick up something from the body (yeah, i\'m good at making excuses for my crappy painting effects :D lol )

oh and here\'s a standard for my slaanesh LatD army, it\'s gonna be music themed

edit: by the way, the black is smooth and...well black...but the picture/lighting messed it somehow... ???

a cookie to the one who guesses which band\'s cd-cover this is :]

Exsellent looking banner, i have no clue which cd cover that is from though. What would look good for a slaanesh army banner though is some Tool artwork from the Lateralus album, like the one from my Avatar, i would\'nt mind doing that myself if I felt I had the skill. Check this link out for a look at the art which inspired that album, from guy called Alex Grey.

That banner is awesome. Dont know the band either. Not having a go at your painting skills. I think yur painting is better than mine just something I have learnt about blood an gore is to try and hold back a little. The mini is excellent and I will prob vote about an 8 for it.

no need to explain, it was constructive critisism, no offence taken or anything....i just was trying to explain my twisted vision of the gory event

oh and the banner is taken from Slayer\' God hates us all album cover....gotta love that CD :D

oh and here\'s another WIP, small and bad pic working as a teaser (more pics tomorrow as i will put some more work on it)

its a mix of red and chestnut ink, then \"shot off\" from the brush, and finally to the bigger bloodstains pure chesnut ink (not thinned) :)

Could I ask what colours you use for the bonish type colour on the robes of that rackham figure and the pants of that other figure? I use a similar colour very often but mine looks a tad yellowy.

it\'s fortress grey shaded with black and highlighted with white in both minis :)

Ogrebane: that\'s correct! :D gore always brings some life to grey and cold color schemes....also i like how the blood makes the minis look....brutal! lol

oh and thanks! :D

Fortress grey? Are you serious? I could\'ve sworn there was some graveyard earth or something in there. Must just be the photos.
