In the end I decided on a refund, as no-one could guarantee the French postal system wouldn\'t misplace things again.

Despite this they have offered to send the DVD out as an apology so all round are happy.

Thanks to Jeremie, Vincent and the guys @ Kraken for getting back on the ball and sorting my problem out. I hope they do the same for anyone else having issues.

I had a similar situation in trying to get replacement parts after Jeremie came to DC for the painitng class this summer. It took longer than I expected to get things sorted out, but patience paid off and I received a package right before Christmas. I know that the Kraken team is trying their best and they have an exellent product line, so I hope that these types of incidents become increasingly rare in the coming year. I would hate to see such a promising new line of games and miniatures get dismissed due to a few setbacks in customer service. I\'m sure that Jeremie will use these initial experiences as a learning tool and improve the Kraken QC and Customer Service components of the business - he\'s a pretty smart guy.

For the record, I do plan to continue doing business with Kraken. The National Capital Model Soldier Society, the Sponsor of the annual Washington Show, is considering using the Pirate Kid as their Show Figure for 2009. This will give Kraken a bit of National exposure once the Show Article hits the Historical Miniatures pages.

Just to update.I have received a replacement DVD, Thanks J. And it has had all error corrected. I too will continue to do business with Kraken.
Their customer service is very good. They answered all my pm,s through here, and on the UKCORD. Their email responses did leave a lot to be desired, but there is more than one way to contact people.

I\'ve only had positive and fantastic dealings with this company. The founders of this company have solid reputations. I would hazard a guess that any glitches are most likely related to temporary circumstances outside the company\'s control.

Just my 2 pence.
