Krell, Lord of Undeath on display base - Need advice for moving forward

Hey guys, how's it going? Decided to ask advice on how to move forward with my painting skills. This is a Krell figure with a resin base I did for r/warhammer's monthly challenge. I've painting more seriously over the last 3-4 months and I'm kinda stumped on what and how should I improve as a painter. Hopefully those who are more skilled than I can help me out and give me some feedback.

I agree it's hard to judge from the pic, but seems you are very clean in your work.

For my taste, the thing it lacks more is contrast!
