Think of it this way instead.. the possible level of improvment to the second post is very very high! It\'s like pulling down your pants and fart before you hold a speach. It can\'t grow much worse from that :) In fact Grakhnar may have a glorious future on this forum now when the making fool of himself part is over.. it wasn\'t bad enough that everyone will hate him in the future and not small enough to not leave an impression! The next post will probably be very important...

Ok. I have spent the last 12h writing a paper.. can you tell I\'m bored? anybody?

The goblins are rather neat looking but jakob\'s other figures just are not my thing. Although who knows what the future holds.

I have seen these before, maybe on the voting pages? A different style, I definately think hubby would like the Orc. I don\'t love them, mainly I think because I like painting females with softer lines, they are very angular. I do like the futuristic ninja chick, she\'d be a good one for me to try to learn some NMM on. I haven\'t ventured into that yet. But good job Jakob for showing an obvious personal interest in the customers satisfaction.

Not that I hate the guy or anything.. but to come on a forum and make ones first post.. hey that sucks.. is well not very friendly.. come on in and say Hi..introduce yourself.. a couple simple comments..ask whats NMM and how to do it.. or how to strip paint off models.. a few noob questions like that.. then go say something sucks.. I can respect someones opinions if they don\'t like something but to be a first post seems a little odd.. almost like a bait tactic.

Anyhoo I havent been writing a paper for 12 hours and Im bored too LOL

Whats your paper on?

Hi All,
My good friend DragonForge pointed me in the direction of the thread...

@ Matty1001: Thanks for the kind words about the minis - I am glad that you like the figures, and I look forward to seeing them painted. Also, I am very glad indeed that you notice the casting quality which I am very proud of myself... or rather: I am very happy that I have found a really good caster to produce my miniatures - and that his brilliant work is being noticed.

Since I am a regular on these forums I don\'t really want to mix business with the general fun and hobby stuff that I usually hang out here to enjoy an I hope you all can accept that.

However, I will address a few points:

I am pround of the minis myself and have loved painting them up to show and sell, but naturally my first designs are not gonna jump in there and be \"the best on the market\" - but as mentioned before I do think the casting quality is among the very best and that does count for something in the end.

And if you think my models suck - then just don\'t buy them, please. I would hate it if the models were just consumed without people considering the potential of the miniatures. Luckily, other people like the designs.

Well, thanks to all for taking a look, for comments and encouragement. :)

Now, both of you - Avelorn and DragonForge - what are those papers about...?

Best Regards,
Jakob Rune

Well my paper is about liberal poor relief and moral education in Sweden 1903-1918 and different policies concering it.

Interesting, huh? ;) Soon it\'s done...

Funny that! Yes - now that you are saying it I remember Heroquest - to me the orc is a strange mix of the barbarian\'s pose and the one-piece plastic orcs.... :)

Edit: Did the Heroquest orcs have that pose too - I cannot visualize it precisely?

Plus the quality is far higher than most stuff on the market.

I don\'t dislike the models by any means, but I\'m not sure I\'d go this far :)

I meant the casting not the sculpt/model, sorry if you thought the other :D;)
