La Voyageuse - Version

Hi there,

this lady... oh how to start. We are still doint this crazy battle of the brush thing over there at maxpaint.de (BoB), were two combatants with brushes paint something to challenge eachother... this time i my honostly brother in the BoB-Fight is Jens and as we both love the Miniatures from Helldorado we decided to paint the limited Voyageuse... thanks again Jens for that gift...

I really had a good start with her, a totally freaking base concept in my eyes, where i wanted to show the world of Helldorado - pure Chaos... the first brush strokes have been a lot of fun then i totally lost my motivation... don\'t know why... as she was now standing there as a work in progress for 4 weeks i took some more moments to finish her up - just to finish her... if you would ask me - i don\'t like her...

And that she looks on my balcony as i am still getting mad about taking pictures...

Maybe you like her? Motivation is sometimes so strange, but whatever... Keep on happy painting!

The base is totally awsome, but I think it would have been more fitting to a slightly bigger mini.. that said the mini is nicely painted as usual..

I think the mini is swamped by the big (but impressive!) base. The mini itself is very well painted, and I DO like her.

I am finishing a mini I do not like at the moment aswell, and I may post some photos here when it is done for some of you to laugh at - I fear I will not have as rewarding a result as you have with her! She is prima!

mini looks fine mate, don\'t put too much pressure on yourself.

my guess is that you did the base first, and the base was the main idea.
i never tend to be happy with a mini when it\'s the base that gets more of my creative attention.

i know what you mean. i don\'t like it that much and i can place why.
the painting is good and the base is mad. maybe it just overshadows her

Jepp... it\'s definatly the too big base, that makes her weird in the overall look...

I thank you very much for your kind words on her and am also happy that some of you might like her... i won\'t i guess... shit happens

So remember don\'t do them bases too big or try to do only a base then lol
