\'thing in the tank\' ....:D

Here I am

Very nice minos :D I like it !! :flip:

No for the translation :
The walls are in plaster of paris , They are sculpted in the plaster will it is still \'fresh\' wich means they have started hardening but they aren\'t dry, if it dries to soon you can rewet it as many times as needed.
After that I did the usual dryburshing and basic painting nothing special.:)::duh:

The thing is the tank is a bit more complex to translate so I\'ll do it when I have time with my dictonarie next to me :p Cool fact though is that there is a LED in the tank allowing to light it up at night for extra cool effect :p

Might I be of some help :)?

\'thing in the tank\' ....

\"Completely sculpted in Duro (my first sculpture!!! that counts!!!) then painted of course, then made a placenta out of Duro again. Everything is then placed in a plastic tube and I filled it with inclusion resin.

While the resin polymerised I gave the fluid effect by placing very deluted paint drops with a needle, the drops migrated little by little, I did that for four hours to evenly spread the effect...resin starts to harden after 3 and a half and 4 hours, then you have to wait 24 hours until it is completely hard.

It was the most difficult part of the diorama... One thing that can\'t be seen on the photos...the tank can be lit by a diode...it gives off a great effect in the dark.\"

I hope it\'s not too far of from the original version ... and : génial ton diorama Minos ;).

I think you are now King of the Diorama.
Great stuff Minos,very atmospheric.
How about a shot of the tank in the dark with the led on?

Wow...

The resin effect looks great, but 4 hours to do the bubbles is insane! I think you need to put info like that in the post description.

Even if it\'s quite direct, here\'s a little translation :

\"Ok I\'ll try to do a picture in the dark.

Yes, yes, it took 4 hours to do the effect at the base of the tube!! But not continuously ... I was doing something else at the same time ;) resin takes a long time to harden ... if you put all of the paint at once it drops to the bottom and then that\'s the end of the effect !!!\"
