Land Raider Assembly Question

So I\'ve started assembling a Land Raider and ran into a problem. Any feedback or solutions would be appreciated.

Anyways, where I am running into a problem is the front cargo doors that open and close. There is a sort of bolt that I am not suppose to glue so that it can pivot and hold both doors level when they are opening. So when I attach it, and not glue it, after opening and closing the doors a couple of times the bolt just falls out.

Here is a picture of the specific part that I am talking about:

I can\'t figure out how to keep it from falling out after a couple of uses and once I glue the other half of the side on I won\'t be able to get back to it to fix it. Thanks for any tips and input.

Glue an elastic band over it.

there should be supprots in the opposide side hull to keep that part in place. At least there has been in the LR\'s i\'ve built. Try dry fitting the hull side and see where things are before you glue anything.

had the same problem from the new kit, i just ended up leaving it off and glueing the front doors shut, never liked painting the inside anyway

Thanks for the replies guys. I tried attaching them with a pin through it then bending the edges of the pin wire so it wouldn\'t fall out. seems to be doing the trick but if it falls out eventually I will end up gluing the doors. The supports on the hull didn\'t help much unfortunately.
