okey, here is my terminator chaplain I\'m working on, I would be thrilled if you guys on CMON could maby give me you oppinions, and give some good criticism for it... advices to make the model better :D I would especially like to get some oppinions about the black aromor. thx in advance for any coments :D

sigh... after some \"hard work\" I managed to get it right :D well... here is a pic of my terminator chaplain. I\'ve said the most stuff I wanted to say in the first post.

Ogrebane: I\'m working on the highlights actually. but first I remade the nmm.. so I bet the next pic will look even better :D

hehehe, I know XD.. now I have repainted the nmm and I have done some with the highlights on the black armor... so all it is left now before I can make an update is to get some new batteries for my camera :)

Oh how we laughed :p
We all made those mistakes when we first started posting - but hey - mistakes are the best way to learn (Especially other PEOPLES) lol

As for PAINTING mistakes though, I can\'t see any obvious ones in that pic - looks pretty meatylicious to me at the mo.

Clean up that photo contrast tho! lol

I\'m not a fan of the purple scales on the back of the legs. I really like the skull.

It\'s not something I normally do, but I know someone will complain about it and snipe you for it, so you may want to drill out the barels on the Storm Bolter.

yeah... I was quite unsure if I should paint those,scales... but.. I came to the decision that I do it and post it at CMON... I\'ll see what they think... so one \"no\" vote then :p

Looks nice so far, i dont like the purple scales either tho...too \'out there\' for this particular fig. I do like the new NNM gold by the looks of things, but the photo is out of focus so i cant realy judge.

to improve;
- take in-focus photos...could be the greatest model ever but if your photo is out of focus noone can tell anything.
-make your mind up about the purple...do you realy want it?
- practice with the drill, then drill the barrels of his gun.
- look up some gem stone articles/tutorials on the CMON site, i cant relay see if youve tried it yet due to the bad photos but the belt buckle and possibly the eyes would benefit from being \'gemed up\'

There are exelent free image editing programs you can use to tidy your shots up (wont sort out the focus but will do the brightness and contrast). Try The Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) or paint shop pro.


Good work so far tho!

That nmm is coming up a treat! I think you need one more highlight on the edges and it\'ll be perfect.

I don\'t know what else to comment on as it is still WIP and I am not sure which parts are finished but it is coming along great!

For the scales....that sounds a cool idea to me! But they look to far apart atm and they should be smaller and more blocky if you know what i mean.... take a look here:

Look on the banner - they are more defined than yours at the moment and have sharper highlights. It would improve the piece a lot if you do this (that is if you want the scales. Btw I would go with personal opinion if I were you ;) )

There is a slight smudge on the imperial eagle on his butt, didn\'t know whether you knew that or not but thought I\'d better point it out... :rolleyes:

With the skull and crossbones on the shoulder pad - are you planning nmm or bone with that?

Anyway, keep working on it, it\'s looking great so far!
