Can anyone tell me anthing about the origin of this fig?

Some parts of the fig are from one of the chaos wizards and a lot of green stuff.. me thinks??...its in the fantasy miniatures 2002 book from gw and is credited to Alex Hedstrom and Martin Footitt both who are gw designers now ...so i would say Alex would have sculpted it and Martin painted it (evy metal team at the time?) hope this sheds some light on the figure.

Yeah I still think its a conversion, but Ive been wrong befor. Id email the seller and ask if he could take a poicture of the blister package so you can see the contents.

I also saw something fishy about the auction.. the 0 feedback bidder running up the price.

I find this crap so funny. I can\'t believe sellers think people will fall for this. It has been a while since I have seen such a blatant display of dishonesty on Ebay. Creating a profile just to raise the price is so dumb.

The bidding does look bogus.
The seller however has a respectable feedback history.So I am not sure bout this one.???

You are correct on this one..being a seller on eBay Ive seen this happen befor..\"0\" feedback bidders running up prices.. amazeingly enough they win and pay ASAP and go on to being good ebayers. Theres been one of two who were kids and had no intention on paying when they won.

Whats still up for question is the validity of the miniature. Ive still seen no referance that it actually exists as a mini.Since the seller does not show a picture of the actual mini, but only a photo from GW of a figure that Ive always beleived to be a conversion custom figure. I would still be leary of the item and bidding.

Update on this item, I emailed the seller asking for a picture of the actiual miniature in blister and the seller added it to the auction. Its at the bottom off the auction page. It looks to be the real deal.

I had no idea this model was ever offered as a LE.

It may never have been offered for sale, but I know that sometimes the sculptors make something that they get a small number cast for others up at head office. Typically they are resin, but its not unheard of for them to be metal casts.

Well this is in an official GW blister with the multi language code label on it. Ive found that GW loves to offer certain LE\'s only at cetain shows in cetain countries..so this may of beenh sold only at an Italian GD ot GT

But yes since I know a few GW sculptors, Ive attained a few of the staff \"specials\" in my day:)

Well having a origional uncast green would be a very nice prize indeed. As for pressed greens I have boxs full in the basement form my Partha days lol

BUT!
The zero feedback bidder has two neutral feedbacks from the exact same seller for supposedly not paying for items over a year ago.
Aaaand he\'s also from Italy.
