Metallics are NMM. Gore and icicles were made with clear silicone (+red acrylic for gore) and then coated with varnish to keep them "wet".

oh thats a good one, superb painting skill :good: and the base is amazing! think you went a bit overboard with the blood on the weapon though, and the decapitation-head-gore-thing looks kinda off. now, i am myself off voting you a "10"

Thanks!!! You're right this was also my first attempt at adding blood (yes) to a model.. so I have a bit overdone with it on the sword
Nonetheless the gore on the severed head looks nice seen live.

Well done! I love that armor color.

The ice doesn't quite look 'cold'...I'm not sure why that is.. but something seems just a smidge off there. However, that's a minor complaint on a plate full of glorious!

About the ice (clear silicone)... maybe I should have given more layers of gloss varnish. I'll keep this for next icy project
