Australia\'s psychotic with their customs. They dont let anything living or that could be living into the country other than humans.
I was planning on bringing some bonsai down there a couple years ago then I found out the plants would have to be kept in quarantine for 6+ months before they\'d release them to me inside the country (at which point they\'d be dead...needless to say, I didnt take that trip). Any seeds (trees not weed, get yer head outta the gutter lol) are basicly banned. I cant remember the fine but it was something like OMFG huge if I was caught with the seeds a friend wanted. Dont think they let you take fruit or anything into the country either, like if you\'re eating an apple, you\'re gonna have some fun getting by customs.
It\'s understandable I guess, their ecosystem is rather fragile being that it is so confined, it wouldnt take much to ruin it.
