Legality of watching an \'internet\' movie question...

I stumbled across a blog site that lists LOTS of first run movies.

You can apparently watch them or download them.

Now, I realize this is most likely still piracy...BUT...out of curiosity

if you watch a STREAMING feed of the movie, can your PC still be \'traced\' as doing something illegal?

I realize Downloading them would be a bit easier to prove...

The video in question plays just like a YOUTUBE video would..

If you ask me: it doesn\'t matter if you download or watch stream. They can trace you anyway. But question is, why should they? The only reason for punishment would be if ya copy it a 100 times and sell it at a market or on the net. If they are to dump to close such sides on the internet, its their problem, not yours.

I have seen \"I am Legend\" right after the first press releases...\"Perhaps\" at a cinema \"perhaps not\" lol

I think the copyrights will break sooner or later and have to change. As all static things they are made to crumble and be crushed down. Bad news for big companies, good news for creative small ones.

Oh one tip: Get Linux if you ask yourself to much of such questions when on the internet

Well, I don\'t disagree with that...And 99% of the time, I probably wouldn\'t bother...but this afore mentioned site claims they will have CLOVERFIELD today and I just want to see what the damn monster looks like....but not so much that I want to go to piracy court.

Why not? It\'s easy enough to rig your CPU up to your TV these days and stream stuff straight on to your nice new LCD TV. That\'s what Media Centre was designed for after all....

Good grief. Monsters are never given their fair share of credibility, are they? That poor creature must be the result of massive mutation - neither design nor evolution could\'ve produced something so apallingly ill-suited to feeding itself or even just getting around.

Poor guy, poor guy...
