My MySpace Story
I was looking for a friend from my school named Gwen. I went to search and typed Gwen into it, a profile with my picture came up! I thought at first that I had used Gwens name somewhere....NOPE! this freak from New Jersey took my pictures (3) and pictures from other girls and used it as they\'re pictures
i promptly deleted my myspace.
werido\'s live there.
MySpace is based here in the Los Angeles area, and I have a
lot of friends who work there. You know how it goes: a couple of them got jobs there, got another friend a job, that person got another one a job, etc. Anyway, for several of the friends who work there, the entirety of their jobs is dealing with such identity-theft issues, as well as getting rid of the fake celebrity profiles set up without the actual person\'s authorization.
Peer pressure of sorts forces me to have a profile. But I log in as little as possible, and actually use it less. It does have its useful features, true. But not only does it have a tendency to attract the dregs of the Net (present company excluded, of course!

), but the layout and performance of the site is just horrid.
