Closing the store early today in anticipation of 2 to 3 feet of snow arriving. Looking forward to a painting marathon this weekend (in between shoveling snow)

If you are one of the lucky people in the storm's path, post your pictures here.

It's not REALLY gonna snow ...it'll just be me with 1000s of bottles of crushed glass by secret weapon miniatures....I'm very fond of the stuff...this time I'll be testing out how to use crushed glass shimmering snow on a large scale living diorama as I blanket us in snow... :/

Went to work to get our orders shipped this morning. Most of the businesses along the main road were closed due to this 10 foot high pile of snow the plow trucks pushed into their entrances.

Different kind of storm season here (Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia) - thunderstorm season!

Had a really strange one last night, off the coast there was a large cloud that stayed still for hours just bubbling away with lightening.... Above was clear sky / stars etc, but strobing from the lightening... Here is a video I found of it online (in real time): https://vimeo.com/153766159

Cool video. Must have been weird watching it sit there and waiting for it to come on shore.

Yeah - it had a real "war of the worlds" feel, a clear sky constantly flickering (when you weren't looking directly at the cloud)... and it never came to shore (well, where we felt it anyway). But did have an absolute corker last night to make up for it. :)
