.....

OK, that\'s it. Just to spite these guys, I\'m going to register, and when the hour comes... I\'ll duck.

My coworker registered me and put my work email address in there for the reminder, because she \"doesn\'t want any evidence linked to her.\" :p We\'ll probably all jump over here in our cubicles for chuckles.

There\'s a huge gap in their research. If we have half the needed number of jumpers in, say, North America, and the other half say, in Australia... that\'s half jumping on the wrong side, and balancing out the amount of force. All that would happen is we\'d crack the earth open like a humongous egg, and the Great Bird of the Galaxy would hatch!

We don\'t want that!

I can\'t believe people waste time and energy on things like this... ... when they could spend that time painting minis instead! ;)

hum.. it\'d be nice if there was even a minimal chance that it would work..

The main point is that the momentum of the jump should negate the landing. (even if they get up on chairs) We are in an enclosed system. the second point is that the earths mass is too large. I think it demands a huge external force to Rock the World.. :D

Omigawd!

That is just a ploy to collect the email addresses of idiots:D

Nevertheless I am going to tell Mrs Finn that it is \'World Jump Day\' and claim my jump.....

(Jump also has a colloquial meaning in the UK for those that didn\'t know....:D )

It\'s strange....

I think the English invented innuendo (or inyourendo):D

It\'s quite possible to have a XXXX rated conversation with someone and sound quite innocent to someone who is unfamiliar with the rules...:bouncy:

And I don\'t necessarily mean folk for whom English is a second language...there are some quite filthy songs etc that get played on the BBC and other media, because people don\'t understand the true meaning of what is being said...

I would say they are. Take the alternate meaning of \'jump\', and add in that there\'s a great huge email list being compiled to send spam mail to....

You think the world isn\'t getting \'jumped\' by this?

What would lunar observers make of the world rocking back and forth as it shags its way through orbit on world jump day?

it might be easier...

For you to tell us which words do not hold a colloquial meaning....

Plus, I totally agree with Naukhel...are they only posting this on one half of the earth?

The Manky Milky Way Wood

I\'m supposed to be working, you bastards, now all I can think of is Mercury and Venus getting jealous and heated up around the Horn of Helios. Asteroids bump rocks in an orbital orgy and Saturn longs for Viagra. Virgo blushes and turns her head while Orion pulls string, and pretty soon we have a cosmic copulation, a firmament fornication of galactic proportions.

And these crazies are trying to put an end to global warming?
