I finally got around to finishing something for myself (I gave away all that I painted for the past three months...), a Confrontation Wolfen.
It was meant as an experiment (furry skin, back to metallics, snowy base and cold colours).
So I\'m now looking for constructive criticism...

If you have any question, I\'d be pleased to answer... :)
Any comment (bad or... worse :D) ?

Looks very good, but did you really use metallics? The gun looks almost like nmm! Anyways, nice clean yet worn painting, and great colours.

You might try lighting that is a little less harsh, though. It looks nice and realistic, but also hard to make out. :)

Thank you for the comments :).

@Drake Farstrider
Well, actually, the snow isn\'t molten plastic, it\'s just the ice peaks under the rock that are.
The snow itself is sodium bicarbonate. I may still add glass powder to add a shiny look to it.

@LavronYor
Well, I\'ll try to upload smaller pics (front/rear/side views ona same pic), but I have to get good pics, and that\'s my biggest problem (I always focus on the tree that\'s out of this picture...) :D

@Nelson
I guess you\'re right about the harsh lighting :D. I\'ll try to improve that... And it\'s indeed metallics, but enamel, and it\'s amazing the difference there is between highlites with enamels and acrylics. Basically, the way I did it was Boltgun metal + black washes + Mithril Silver highlites + Enamel.

WOW!

I love the base and i think that a couple of burnt wound are a good price for this result! ;)

The lights are a bit harsh, that\'s true, but i think they give a very dramatical feeling to the pic, so i like them too!

the painjob is ok, and the metallics are great!
