..... nothing for ages, then you get two at once!

This has sat around for ages doing nowt. Finally tweaked him and realised he was missing something. So he got an AC/DC t-shirt....

Nice one Scott...

I really admire your style and, believe me, if I thought it stank I would say so:D

Keep up the good work:flip:

Awesome

Really nice Scott! Love you bright crisp style. I do have one question though. Did they ever actually sell white AC/DC tees. I\'ve only ever seen them in black lollollol

Great work, how did you do the base?

A little humor always is a plus. Cool. I saw AC/DC a few months before Bonn died. They were relatively unknown here in the states at the time. Wow!

Steroids + +...

nice one Scott, (or should that be 2)
thats one \"pumped\" mini!
and I\'m not looking through \"Rosie\" colored glasses, he even looks like he could be on the \"Highway to Hell\" :D

Thanks all. He\'s just a bit of fun really. I liked the fig, but it was a really scabby bit of casting....

The base is just a chunk of plaster that has been carved.:)

I\'m torn on this one because he is much more stylized and less realistic than some of your other work, however no less technical ability went into it. It seems right now we have a huge push for realism in the hobby, and much less for stylized or more abstract renderings of models.

So judging this model on how \"realistic\" you pulled off one part of it or another it would disappoint, which was my initial reaction. Now that I\'ve thought about it I see more what you were up to here. It wouldn\'t fit to have complete realism in the painting style on this mini that looks...so un-realistic. How you chose to render him fits the sculpt very well.

Although I expect the scores may suffer for him due to people voting on that same initial reaction I had without giving him enough time to sink in...

I love the shirt! :)

Nice work!

-Eric

PS I do think the skin tone could benifit from 1 shade darker in the deep recesses, particularly between the fingers

PPS I really love the base!

He looks straight out of a comic book, love it.

Like Eric said, about the realism bit and all, I like that as well, but at the same time, I just LOVE seeing something done in a manga or comic book style. Everyone seems to have moved away from that but they are fun.

Good work!

realy nice job :)

particularly on the rendering of the letters on the shirt, very clean.
and the base os very cool :)

I do agree with eric J on the shading though....sorry

who made the figure?

p.s. you might want to touch up the background crop on him, he\'s missing a patch of skin on the left shoulder where it joins the T-shirt

Well as I have already said I\'m a big fan of the comique book style on minis. Not that the realistique style is bad, I just like cartoony minis better :p. And that mini is awsome, funny thing is that I opened the thread just when \"highway to hell\" was coming on in my room :p
