Hi Alex, I don\'t think you\'ll have spent much time perusing the forums before joining so I\'d like to offer a little word of advice not to make the same mistake you made on pF.

-Einion,

It so happens that I am one of the paint masters for ReelArt Studios and painting master for the Official Frank Frazetta Gallery Death Dealer series.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Best,

-DaN,
Paint Master is the name or title if you will given in the USA to painters considered masters in painting miniatures in the field of prototype work , as they paint the first castings or sculptured masters for production .

Thanks for the compliment. It’s just a resin column painted to look like marble.

Frazetta\'s \"Conan the Barbarian \"

28a0.jpg

She has been an obsession till I felt she was alive ,she almost finished, now to finish Conan and then the ground work.

In this composition by just changing the female\'s attire by placing breast plates and panties type covering can change the setting and mood from primeval to medieval. Another point is that the female is made to appear \"grubby\" and barbaric, laying comfortably in a mound of body parts and blood. These are just some of the considerations to explore in my line of work. This is my version I hope you like her as much as I do.

love it the hair is awesome....he way the strands lay on the flesh......Deserved title with Paint Master but I think what Einion was trying to say is we\'re a fairly primitive bunch and tites like paint master open people up for a bit of a ribbing...I mean you do\'t want to come across pretentious as then people will sit sulk and throw the odd insult.....:drunk::beer: welcome

Being pretentious was the last thing on my mind. In the USA Figure / Statue industry I’m considered a “Paint Master.” This is a common term in the USA for those people that paint the prototypes. That being said, there is no need for me to throw the term around. My work warrants the classification of paint master. I would also like to clear the air about Mr.Elinion’s remark about making the same mistake from Planetfigure. In my opinion, this was in poor taste…. pulling the welcoming matt from my feet before I came on board. I would appreciate that if Mr. Elinion has any derogatory comments that he PM or e-mail. I love what I do. That being said, the bottom line is the work and will always be the work. in fact, I joined the forum in the hopes of contributing not to get into a tit for tat with anyone. I’m sure there are many forum members that would enjoy and benefit from the how to and pictures I post.

Thank you for you kind words.

Exactly.

By the same token, one could easily read pretense or arrogance into statements like \'that being said, there is no need for me to throw the term around. My work warrants the classification of paint master.\'

So how about we just look at the pretty pictures and stop worrying about who said what, eh?

-Demonherald,

No offence taken, let’s move on.

DaN is right it is rather a large piece about 18”x 13 “excellently sculpted by Steven Lord.

Presently being sold only as a pre-painted statue or blank primed statue.

Enjoy.
