Very well painted. I especially like the face. 9 from me.

The one thing I don\'t like as much is the colors for the glove. Just more of a personal thing about greens that are shaded with a vibrant blue and highlighted with bright yellow, doesn\'t quite look natural. It\'s well painted, don\'t get me wrong, it\'s just me. :)

Very stunning! Solid 9+ from me.

I just love the dress. I may be biased towards those colors. (Being all Slaanesh-y and all) Not to be contrary but I really like the color shading on the glove. I found it drew the eye up nicely towards the pale face from the deeply saturated skirt. The face is exquisite. The expression is spot-on including the slightly smeary lipstick which looks quite deliberate to me.

The weaker parts from me: the sword, the shoes and the hair/toupee/dead animal thingy on her head. Had to stare for a while to come up with these \"weak\" spots, so that should say something. The sword and shoes just seemed a little below the standard of the rest of the mini. I read your description of what you were trying to do with the h/t/datohh and think you succeeded, but it still looks a little flat to me. I haven\'t seen a version of this mini yet that accomplished much with the h/t/datohh so I can\'t point you towards any examples. It looks quite hard to paint.

As always, hope the criticism is constructive!

Very striking.

\'Bout 9.5 for me. Beautiful work. In fact, I may like this one better than Alexi\'s version that inspired you. I particularly like the colors on the hair and the heart tattoo is fantastic. I really can\'t find anything glaring that begs for criticism.

Great job! Voted.

Very nice!

The only thing I\'m not convinced about is the grubbiness at the bottom of her coat. It seems these days that no-one can keep their clothes clean (miniature wise) and as the rest of her looks so well presented, to me it looks a bit out of place

The dress is clean because she\'s got that coat to protect it! ;)

This is a lovely piece Sven! I have some minor complaints, but you already know about them, so no need to repeat myself. :)

Thanks for the comments and pointers! :)

@Shaz: Actually I was striving for a difference between the coat and the dress. Like she\'s put on an old army coat or similar over a party-dress. I did sway a bit from the coarse though as I dirtied up the very bottom of the dress just a bit. I can agree with what your saying somewhat never the less... I mean there has gone a bit of inflation into battledamage and dirt lately. But I guess it will turn and I will try my hands on an highelf soon and it will be absolutely free from dirt... I think. :)

@Bastetcat: Agree about the shoes I kind of forgot to fix them along with the rest, well spotted! The hair and the metals contain metalflakes that I am not very good to photograph.. overall both things look better IRL as the highlights are washed out.. and yeah definately very hard to paint the hairdo in any good way. Thanks for the comments, very constructive! :)

@Mattsterbenz: Bit of a like or dislike thing I guess, I agree it\'s not entirely natural perahsp but I like the effect. I\'m becoming a bit more cartoony with my painting again.. as in alowing me to try non-realistical effects more.. loosing myself up a bit :p

I\'m for: the painting, especially the skin and jacket stands out to me as really good.
I\'m aginst: the mini it self, think it\'s that big hair I don\'t like.

well done
