Anyone here know about the Limewire program? I\'ve figured out how to get things from it onto Itunes but I cannot figure out how to get them onto my Ipod. Anyone know?

tsk tsk, are you talking about copying illegal downloads sir? For shame......

Actually my Limewire crapped out. I couldn\'t get it do do anything but infect my computer with AIDS every now and again. Though not before I got some very enlightening and bizzare.... uhm... \"instructional videos\".

I can\'t offer any advice except that I upgrade to limewire pro and two weeks later it asked me for more money, then my speed went down. I hate limewire.

Plug the USB that came with you iPod into your computer\'s USB port (with iTunes opened on the computer). Your computer should do the rest of the work.

when you DL off of lime wire the music goes in to a shared folder. If you only have I-tunes open, they will not show. You need both Limewire and itunes open to have the folder to pop up, In my experience. But you can always transfer the music around from the shared folder into the Itunes one, you will just need to play them one by one when the program is open in order for it to file them properly for you. The weird thing is some of the bands ppl have marked in as the categories, Like Genre - Christian Goth Rap? I\'ll never figure that one out for alternative style

Before opening any file you download from LimeWire (or anywhere else on the internet), make sure to scan it with an anti virus program, such as AVG. It will save you lots of trouble in the future.

You need to put music from any source, downloaded from Limewire, taken from a CD or wherever, into iTunes. Then when you hook up the iPod to the computer (usually with iTunes already running) it\'ll sync the iPod with the tracks in its list.

Do you know how individual copies of iTunes work in relation to syncing?

You can choose to sync your iPod with a playlist, the whole music library or not at all (ie. just selecting tracks and dropping them in). It\'s a lot easier on a mac I expect lol I don\'t have to worry about viruses from Limewire either.

Yup, I don\'t use the program myself as I said (I think it\'s unethical) but I figured I\'d try to help my friend out with it. He\'s gotten it to work.
