Limited Edition Spyglass Scarecrow

Hi all

Just a bit of a heads up for you. Yesterday I released my scarecrow figure at Spyglass Miniatures. Here he is ...

Now, I decided to do something a bit different with him and released him as a limited edition of just 100 castings. The news went out yesterday on the Forum of Doom and the Spyglass Miniatures yahoo list, and they\'ve been flying out. At the time of writing there are just 16 available for direct sales left. The scarecrow costs £3 each. He can be ordered in the normal way via my website (www.spyglassminiatures.com). There\'s no mention on the site about the mini but he\'s definately available until those last 16 have gone..

However, there\'s been some concern that I only take paypal and UK cheques. Fair enough, it\'s a bit of a pain if you can\'t pay that way. So, the coolmini store has bought a small number of the scarecrows and they will be available shortly. Bear in mind that there wont be many available and they will not be restocked. But I did feel that there should be an option to get them for those without paypal.

So, that\'s the shape of things. Ltd edition of 100. I\'ve sold a few to cmon to sell and have 16 left here after that...

I\'m sure Borg will announce more details soonly...

In fact I like it so much that the minute I saw I went and ordered it. Hop that there are still some left. You should get a mail pretty soon :D

Nice scarecrow. I\'ve got the whole range of the RAFM ones as well as some others and this one would fit in quite well. It\'s kind of funny to think how many minis of scarecrows there are actually. Keep them comingthough, I like them.

By the way, what putty did you use for that weapon? Looks very yellow on the picture.

Well, unless that was someone else from Manchester who just ordered a scarecrow with the message \'the scarecrow please Steve\', you have him.

So, that\'s all of them gone from direct sales. A small number will be available through the cmon store soon and then he\'s gone forever.

Yay, got one, got one!:D Guess I have to hurry and at least paint my Gauntfield before the next cute scarecrow arrives. (Hey, everyone knows that\'ll never happen...)

I haven\'t bought new lead in over a year. But this really tempted me to fall off the wagon. Thank goodness it isn\'t something I could order from my game store.

Sweet work dude. I love scarecrows. and yours is great, especially the body proportions and position.

And Kat, I\'m getting there. Been doing some really enjoyable sculpting last few days :cool:
