What colours do you use when you paint lips? Mine(..well, the ones i painted..) always look a bit lipsticky.
So ,i\'d be thankful for a \'recipe\', maybe even with example?

I usually just add a touch of \'Dark Flesh\' to the whatever flesh color I am using.

To sum up the other thread: Just do it very subtle. Mix whatever colour you use with the fleshcolour. And stay away from the upper lip.

Well I always paint my female minis lower lips like this:
Basecoat in RMS brown liner (Or VGC Charred brown, VMC German Cam. Black Brown, Scroched Brown, ect...)
Highlight up to RMS Chestnut Brown (Or GW terracotta)
Highlight by adding some RMS Fair Shadow and painting a pure dot of it for the light reflection (I guess VMC flat flesh or maybe GW elf flesh might work)

I usually stay away from lips. Lips, eyebrows and the likes will look unrealistic when applied to a mini, if not done VERY subtle...

I have yet to see someone paint eyebrows nicely on a mini...

Well as most of us have lips and eyebrows not painting them will definately be very unrealistic. lol But subtle is the key word here, yes.

That you haven\'t seen nice eyebrowns is possible for the fact that you haven\'t noticed them, they blend in so well. Most top painters paint eyebrows and do it very well.

Back on topic : depends on the mood of the mini, but I use Dark Flesh or Scab Red or some purple depending if I want a hot or cold mood.

what about this?

i mixed a little terracotta into the flesh mix i was using (dwarf flesh + elf flesh) for the lower lip. then added a little white to do the lip reflection.
