Liquid mask solvent

I tried to find in the old posts for some information about liquid mask solvent. If you apply it with a brush what do you use to clean the brush?
I am using MIG liquid mask latex and ammonia base.
Does it mean I should use ammonia as solvent? anything else can be used?

I'd actually recommend not using a brush at all A rubber clay shaper is amongst the best things you can use to apply liquid masks, a sponge works too (depending upon the effect you're after).

No problems! Cocktail sticks can work as well. For removing it I tend to gently poke it with a cocktail stick and then use white blutack to remove it

Wipe the brush (seriously an old one) in Soap first.
Rinse and repeat OFTEN.
Stops the latex gumming up the bristles.

Thank you RuneBrush I was thinking about it! I will also try the tack, I just got some... I was using some latex balls I have just remove to do the same.

Thank you Dragonsreach, so far no damage because I tried with different solvent and seems nothing was working, that's why I start this thread. But I didn't know that some soap and few cleaning will do the job. I still feel better with a brush even an old one, and now knowing it can be cleaned it is even better. I will give it a try!

Ammonia is probably the best solvent for this kind of masking but if you don't have some already I don't think it's worth getting just for this - like RuneBrush I advise not applying this stuff by brush if you can avoid it. More in this previous thread:
