Liquitex sand used in snow formula needed

Around Christmas a thread came up with a Game table ideas need and while looking at the links I saw a receipe for snow using Liquitex sand I thought it was very nice so I stashed it in my favorites....
which is a list about 400 strong and now in the search and the fav I can not find it
HELP please:D
had sand and baking soda mixed

That is a great way to make snow looks like it would be relitively cheap too. when you finish what your working on post it in the forum :D
 
Have it up in a few weeks. :D

And thanks for finding it for us, Tracy was trying her damndest to tell me what it was but we both were coming up empty.

time to scrape that white out off my space wolf and try this method.

only got glue and baking soda but i will see what happens. :D
 
Shadzar, that is all you need. just look at the recent \"Snowy Bases\" tutorial in the article section for a walkthrough of the technique.

i get lost in the articles cause i try to read them all at once in different windows. :D

but where do i get white wood glue?!?! ???

yup i ended up with green snow. lol

will post picture when it fully dries. i dropped it in my rinse water. :(
 
Baahh who neede wood glue. Just regular white glue works fine. Just try it on a spare base first.

Edit: Missed your last post there, all well. Nice one BTW.:)
