lizardmen,count as...

so, i got some lizardmen cavalry,but really dont like the minis.

so i thought ill get some de cold ones and use the cold ones without the riders.cuz #1 they look awfull together and #2 id have to sculpt most of the saurus lower body for a unit i wont be using much.

but i love the thought of the cold ones without riders and make them something like jungle beasts with the cavalrys rules.

would that work on tournys?

You might have some issues over attacks which are normally split between riders & mount.
I can forsee that some opponents might object.
