I enjoy hailing from a town about 10 minutes north of Seattle, WA - One of the few places on earth that can compare with you island folk for more than its share of rain. The weather has been really nasty lately. This is the first overcast day in probably 2 weeks.:p

Devonshire Dumpling

Hi there Beezle - I\'m from and currently in Devon. There are lots of people who do the 3Peaks this time of year, so not surprised it was in your local rag.

Hi Rev - yeah, lots of great pics on the web-site and yes, this island is indeed beautiful. Sometimes I wonder why we always hurtle off somewhere aboard for our hols. Oh, hang on a minute - I think Kat had the answer to that one. Our bloody weather! However, having said that, he who controls the weather was very kind to us on our 3Peaky thing - clear and stunning views from each mountain :innocent:

Ah....blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth (if that\'s ok with you guys) :D

That\'s fine by me...

Tooshy, if we all inherit the Earth, will we install Sturmhalo as the Head of the Planet? His ideas are intriguing...

That Tony Martin thing, I agree he should be free on bail and doing a service to the community. the other chap should be doing the same. What a funny old case lol

I\'m from Iowa

Iowa seems well represented here. I guess that\'s because we have nothing better to do and our close proximity to Lake Geneva planted a seed in a lot of our heads.

Just thought I\'d dig this up again.....

Thought this thread might benefit from an airing as there are a lot of new members around.

Knowing where people are is a definite help, especially in questions which start, \"Where can I get....\" etc:D

painful reading...

Oh hi,

Yeah, I am still from Iowa.

Digging up these old threads, and seeing some of my old posts make me cringe.

It is odd how something that was completely unfunny when I first posted it, remains completely funny after all this time.

Hmmm.:D

Haha! Time for the Annual unearthing of this thread...

Once again loads of new people around and some of them asking each other\'s whereabouts in the forums....
Add your location to your post then everyone knows where you are from...
It\'s not compulsory, but it sure helps dialogue sometimes:flip:

You can add your location to your profile that shows up whenever you post on the forums.

Here\'s what to do:

Go to Forums....

Click on \'User Control Panel\' it\'s at the top.

Click on \'edit profile\'

and....Bob\'s your uncle!!

Think we missed the point.

I am pretty sure the point of this thread is to encourage people to add their location to their profile.... not for eveyrone to respond with their location....
