this is my most recent model.the red tabard is done along woth the sword and the face.the black on the cloak is about 30% done.the pic is pretty shiny.

looking good just got this mini myself and am getting ready to do some major conversion work...

liking what you\'ve done so far maybe just a little tidying up with some mid shades on some of the blended areas but other than that keep it coming..

what do you guys think about the cloak freehand

it think u should blend better the hood and the armour plates, mainly on the back, generally u have to thin more ur paints, the black is really chalky Maybe its a good idea do paint first letters on the cape with a dark brown then highlight them because now they are too similar to the cape colour, making them very undefined. personally i don\'t like too much the camo green colour on the inner part of the cloack, it\'s a little grainy and poorly thinned I really like the blade but u must work more on the freehands on the black side of cloack, mainly the white stripes because they are too thick and not linear.

I think that on the back of the cloak you should go around the freehand very carefully with black paint, to sharpen the lines. Its good stuff but needs defining.

more pics. i scrapped the old design and black coat and have now gone for a dark brown cloak and differant free hand(still not very good)what do you think:-

I personally like the first design better. You just needed a little bit of touch up. The new design is ok, but it doesn\'t flow with the cape. Notice how when you did the I symbol, it was curved with the folds of the cape. Now if you look at the white on the new design, it\'s not wavy at all and just goes straight across.

For a better understanding, find yourself a shirt or sweater with a design that is parallel lines. then fold it so that there are valleys, look at the way the lines actually follow the valley instead of going straight.
