Sweet start on the diorama work...interesting to see your plans for it.

Muscley sinew looking good so far as are those lovely clean lines on the talon.

Wow, just wow! That saddle looks like wood, how the heck did you get such straight lines? Great job on the rest of it as well!

Sorry not posting here sooner, but now I am trying to work on my backlog:

Wow, just wow! That saddle looks like wood, how the heck did you get such straight lines? Great job on the rest of it as well!

Here are some examples from the toenail:

1. On VMC 70.822 Ger. Cam. Black Brown background I draw lines with 1:1 mix of VMC 70.918 Ivory:VMC 70.981 Orange Brown
2-3. Lengthened the lines, later, with more practice, it can be done in one go

4-5. Alternating with Ger. Cam. Black Brown and the Ivory:OrangeBrown mix I started to fix the mistakes and even the lines. Tried to shade the and of the lines with clean Orange Brown.

6. Cheating!: As I could not converge the lines nicely, I airbrushed the and of the nail to Orange Brawn and then Ger. Cam. Black Brown

On the chicken horn I tried to paint thinner lines, but could not paint thin and making nice transitions at the same time:

I had to revert to thicker lines (supporting rods are 1mm thick):

Beautiful horrifying work!
Is some of it airbrushed?

Only the pink areas, the others meaty parts were mainly wetbrushed.

Thanks for the details of how you achieved that. Still, I am good for maybe one or two straight lines right now so will leave that for skill development.:smile-big:

Thanks, guys!

Current state is:

But it seems that I stuck on this mini. The eyes are not bright enough, planning to highlight them even further with 1:1 mix of fluo magenta:white or fluo white, current highlight is ivory, but it is possible that it is too much, i.e. I have to remove all the purple highlights.

And I striped one segment of one wing on one side, took ages (=2 weeks) to paint it in the desired quality, and I do not have the time to be the second Bohun.

Nevertheless, continuing with the opposition, the life sorceress:

EDIT:
The headdress was made with VGA 72.755 Polished Gold, shaded with VMC 70.822 Ger. Cam. Black Brown, highlighted with VMA 71.064 Chrome
Skin is VMC 70.803 Brown Rose, shaded as above, highlighted with VMC 70.928 Light Flesh, and the cheeks were glazed with VMC 70.926 Red
This red was used for the lips, too

Sorry Lone, can't see these attachments for some reason. It says they are invalid. But that Elf witch figure is looking great!
