This is looking so cool. Kudos for going outside your comfort zone to resolve the missing pieces. Blender is something I would like to tackle. I just can't wrap my mind around the initial interface screen, so intimidating.

Thank, all of you!

Meanwhile I translated the Blitz Bowl rules to hungarian, and some little side project, a small Dark Elves team.

Something was not OK within the GW team, each of the minis consisted of 8-12 pieces, the Witch Elf had a standalone thumb piece!
They could not make all the shoulder pats or buttocks made from one piece, however. So a simple color scheme:

Thanks, Krethcer!

Here is some more work on the Skaven team from my backlog. I could not really take photos of them, the minis were painted disassembled:

Thanks, Bear!

Still working on my backlog, after the skavens I started some simple classic project, namely Nocturna, just to have fun.

Starting with skin colors, they were done with (if I remember well)
- VMC 70.928 Light Flesh
- VMC 70.835 Salmon Rose
- VMC 70.803 Brown Rose
- 1:1 mix of VMC 70.960 Violet:VMC 70.950 Black

Thanks, eki!

Continued with the skirt, tried to paint it with VMC 70.808 Green Blue, but the paint separated in the bottle, and could not push the same shade twice out of it.

I was convinced to buy some overpriced Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic Cobalt Teal, had about the same shade, seems to be a good idea to stick with single pigment colors.
Shaded with 1:1 mix of VMC 70.960 Violet:VMC 70.950 Black, highlighted with Schmincke Primacryl Titanium White.
Rose is Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic Naphtol Red Light, was trying to find some available replacement for Kimera Red

Still working on backlog, started painting my First Legion Female Warrior.

Tried to work with pure pigments, face is
- Base color is ~3:2 Schmincke PrimAcryl Titanium White:Schmincke PrimAcryl Cadmium Orange
- Highlighted with ~8:1 Schmincke PrimAcryl Titanium White:Schmincke PrimAcryl Vanadium Yellow Deep
- Shaded with ~1:1 Schmincke PrimAcryl Cadmium Orange:Schmincke PrimAcryl Quinacridone Magenta, with a dip of black
- Shaded with ~1:1 Schmincke PrimAcryl Quinacridone Magenta:VMC 70.950 Black

Tried to by some artist acryl black, but somehow they were not up to the task, VMC seemed much better.

Hair is
- Base color is ~1:1 Schmincke PrimAcryl Titanium White:Schmincke PrimAcryl Quinacridone Magenta
- Highlighted with white, shaded as above

The colors are fantastically vibrant! I bought some (purer pigment) Golden heavy body acrylics, and combined with FW inks I am starting to use a smaller number of paints but mixing a lot more, and it is fascinating.
Looking forward to more of this!
