I finished the left hand, nothing fancy, but sticking the string to the bow was PITA. The scale mail was painted with the same copper color as the freehand on the cape.

What was the problem with painting over the holes?

When you paint it over with brush, it can flow anywhere, with alcohol marker it is hard to draw over the small pinholes. Heavy folding did not help, either.

Edit: try to do at least 0.5mm holes.

Well, I removed this entry, I was not satisfied with the photos of Ainariël.

First daylight in 2 weeks, lol, I tried to take some photos in the ~1/2 hour the sun shines into our bathroom (all the other places were darker).

I have added the photos of the only missing mini I painted to the gallery, Ithandir Blade of Eternity. The freehand on his cape was much easier to do, than on her.
Furthermore I added Ainariël to the gallery, too.

they look ok, but the skin,armor, is pretty flat.
You have a great freehand with pretty much an average everything else.

Kinda agree with Maxx - your paintwork is very clean and the freehand is excellent, but the overall finish is very washed out. Almost like a watercolour palette. Could be the photography, but I suspect you need to be more extreme with your contrast and shading.

thanks for your opinion, seems that I need to get some female nude mini.
Do you have suggestions for 54mm not very well clothed ladies? Somehow I was not a big fan of Ainariël, but would like to know someone from some other company.

As I have no PS in GIMP did I try to set the input levels to 32-255 with 1.2 gamma, I hope this helped something.

I like the 2 (3) from hasslefree.
-Artemis (40 mm greek)
-Mary (54 mm nude, not necessarily a beauty, but rarely done body type)
- the new 40 mm chaosy has a nude type (still waiting for it since halloween)

Alternatives could be :
some of the nudes from E2046.(most are larger than 54mm, but still usable)
54 mm kingdom death minis (most are not nude but pretty close)

And of course there are the minis from pegaso and co.

First I would like to wish Happy New Year, and thanking all the support, interest and help I received in the last year.

Furthermore I added the 30th Anniversary Lamenters Space Marine to my gallery, so I have processed my backlog.

Next in the queue is my dwarf and night goblin army, first Grimm Burloksson, the dwarf miner cart, on of the funniest GW mini, the night goblin squig herders.

So as I promised, first mini this year is Grimm Burloksson.

I airbrushed him from bottom with VMC 70966 Turquoise + VMC 70862 Black, then from upside with VMC 70840Light Turquoise, VMC 70844 Deep Sky Blue and the head received a small amount of VMC 70961 Sky Blue.

And as I was advised, I am trying to go for more contrast, but trying to stick to all of my other dwarfs, too.
