Ok link did not work for me, but if you want to improve best to do a WIP thread on your next figure make the picures nice a big close ups and the guys will point out what is wrong and right and how to improve

Thanks Exile. I apologize if this may be in the wrong thread. I added the image connected to my submission in the above post. If needed feel free to move/delete this post... this just my noobieness showing through.

I will throw my next project up on the WIP board for sure.

Thanks, again

Grim

it think it's ok where it is as we are discussing what has been submitted but i think what exiles is trying to point out is that the best way to improve is to start something and have everyone nudge you along as you paint

for a start, you pic is a little dark, there is a huge amount of background that could easily be cropped and there is only a single, front-on view.

i would also guess (it's hard to tell with the dark photos) that you could up your contrast to get better scores

welcome to the forums

Doing a montage of pics that show at least a front and back shot of the mini is a good idea- gives us more to go on for any critiques.

I really love the skintones- especially the soft ruddiness you've added to the nose. It's either a cold day or he has a cold :)
