So apparently this bus picks people up at several places to take them to GD.

Another question that I hope somebody will answer: how far is this new place from central London? I\'m thinking about visiting London for the first time, and I could try to be there near these dates so I can also attend Gamesday for the first time.

The NEC is quite away from any cheap Hotels/B&B\'s, the ones on the site are big commercial chain types. I believe the train service is not so good on a Sunday as well!

The NEC about 120 miles north of London!

I\'m ok as I live 25 minutes drive away!

I can drive it in about an hour maybe a bit longer but there is no way I am going on a GW bus with a pile of screaming brats that can only talk about GW and how they will only play with the latest models and that other systems are pants.

I\'m driving there and in doing so I am happy to foresake a few pints of guiness at lunch time but I will meet up with other CMON members for a natter

Ahh, comeon, those buses are really not that bad! True, there are noisy teenagers, but personally their presense didn\'t bother me much.

Of course, driving there yourself is better, but for a foreigner the buses seem to be the best way to reach NEC: easy, cheap and there is no way you arrive late for submitting your entries.

Was thinking of taking in Breakfast near the NEC so wasn\'t planning on arriving late

Believe me I have seen those buses and the ones that go from the Cardiff and Newport stores are a nightmare even though they try and run a seperate bus for the older/senior players.

I\'m not saying they\'re first class, but still, quite a convinient way for a foreigner to fogret about all the trouble about how to get to NEC from London. Done that last year, no complaints, really.

I know that Green_stuff\'s coming over from France for Gamesday and Avicenna & Tooshy will be there possibly with Palocles In fact most of the usual suspects from the UK will be there.
