I think this is the most suitable forum for my post.
I was hoping for some help from an awesome and immensely well-informed community.
I am looking for a miniature (28mm scale) of a civilian nobleman, or one that does carry sword on a belt but does not look too martial.
The clothing style of the miniature should fit the time frame of the golden age of piracy (1650 - 1715), but I am quite happy to do a certain amount of conversions on it.
I really like this one from Castle miniatures, but the scale is far too big. Just to give you an idea what I am envisioning:

I know that the time frame is a bit off, but the collar and clothing style are perfect for what I am looking for.
This one is a bit too gaudy and in the wrong scale, but the armor would be an option.:

Ideally, I would like to base the miniature on El Greco's Nobleman:
The character will be more of a decoration, so the gaming system or company do not really matter.
