Looking for a specific Beholder miniature....

but there is a different one, probably by ral partha that has a larger body, more details on it and the eye stalks are all very long and winding around, twisting, etc.

Anyone know who made this one? I can\'t seem to find it.
I know it\'s not Manxam the beholder by ral (the one in the pic) cause I have that one.

I will try and get a photo of it next time we play D&D at that person\'s home.

Not the reaper one. I know that one ...

This one is a real D&D styled beholder.

The stalks are just longer and wind in all different directions.

The beholders I know from ral partha are:

the one I am looking for, is different than both of those.

(and no, it\'s not the prepainted ones by Wizards OR the one released with Chainmail...it\'s older than those)

This is one on EBAY from the Reaper Dark Heaven Line that matches your description. The fig is discontinued though so you\'ll have to get it 2nd hand.

It doesn\'t appear to have tentacles holding it off the ground.

I have sent a message to guy on ebay to ask.

Will get one of them prob.

The one we saw at our DM\'s place...maybe he cut off any extra tendrils and supported it with a PIN himself. He said he forgot where he got it from.

I sculpted both the Hackmaster Beholders. The \'other one\' spoken of was my fave too. The so called \'Lewd\' Beholder.

Fun sculpts. I think I\'ve improved a bit since then...

Of all the beholder\'s I\'ve seen through the years, that one is my favorite beyond all others - I\'ve got two in my collection now,and will prolly pick up at least one more when I get home if I can find it.

Glad I could help Sanjay. The guy on Ebay is selling for the same price as the Reaper boneyard link from steelcult. I guess shipping cost would be the only difference.

Here\'s the one Eye did. It\'s from Kenzer & Co., they do Hackmaster and KotDT.

Nearly nothing by reaper is actually out of production. They take stuff out of their catalogs but keep them available through their online store. Also your local Reaper stockist types should be able to get in any \'discontinued\' minis from them.
