Looking for Asian themed fantasy minis

Hello everyone!

I am looking to start up a Kingdoms of Men army for Kings of War. (Not the holy themed Forces of Basilea army.) Being me, I always have to do something different with the way my armies look. Unlike another certain company that makes fantasy minis who says you can only use their stuff for events. Mantic says they don't care if you use their minis or not for not, they just want people to play! I was thinking to go with Asian themed look for my army. So I've been looking around for minis to use. This is what I've found so far.

Wasn't there a Kickstarter just run recently for Qin Dynasty warriors?

Bushido is a whole range of asian themed minis, and a game of its own. Wrath of Kings also has strong asian ties.

I did a quick Google search and found that kickstarter. It's already over. It's more Chinese themed then Japanese. Which is not a bad thing, but the two styles are quick different. It ended only about a month or so ago. So I'm guessing at least a year until they're out.

I didn't know about those! They look great! Lots of good potential for heroes and wizards.

One unit I would like to add, is a unit of foot soldiers with shields. The Japanese did not use shields. So all the core melee units will have to be either spearmen, or footmen with 2handed weapons. I would like a shield unit for that extra armor. If I want to keep with the theme though, I really shouldn't have any units with shields.....

Sorry, you said you were looking for Asian-themed models. I took it to be non-stricted to a single styling.

That I did. It's just that everything I've been finding so far has been Japanese style. I might be able to still use those, but again, they are not out yet and it looks like it will be at least a year until they are which is the real problem.

Black Hat Miniatures do a range of Chinese inspired miniatures, also Renegade Miniatures produced some, which I think may be Han Dynasty.

There was a game called Anime Tactics. They had a few models that were monks or Asian swordsmen. I'm not sure if they were 28mm or 32mm.
