looking for boxes...

I want to buy a range of figure boxes - ones that match... not so much for storage but also for display.

I hit on the idea of using dice boxes - you know, the ones they ship chessex dice in... (the ones at the bottom of this page)

Anyone get any idea where i can buy empty boxes of this type in a range of sizes IN THE UK???

I don\'t know about the UK, but most of the craft supply stores in my area carry those boxes. You might also check a plastic display store -- the sort that sell the clear plastic brochure holders and such; they also usually carry them. Also very reasonably priced.

Hobby shops sell them. No idea on UK suppliers but any well stocked model train and historical model shop should have them. Department stores carry the larger ones for cars here beside the model section with the cars, military vehicles, etc.

i got some really gud boxes from maplins the other week, i use it for a huge bit box with a compartment for everything. but they had lots of different types you should check it out. also wilkonsons have a range of hobby boxes they do form time to time, i just buy nitromorse tho lol.:~(smelly stuff:bouncy:

p.s. mind you, you should go to a large maplin store or check out their website if you that desprite (damn packaging fees:flame: )

browse through the sub menus, snoop arround, IMO the aluminium ones would look great for display purposes, verry professional...

Thanx for your replies guys, however i\'m looking for specifically the boxes like those used by Chessex or something VERY similar. I want to be able to use them as small display boxes as well as for storage and transport. I\'m not looking for bits box type storage.

I know some of these things can be found in goo hobby stores but i\'m miles from a decent one - have a day job, and have family commitments, so i\'m pretty much reduced to working from the net...
