Looking for Freelance Sculpters UK based

Hi, i\'m planning on producing a range of Fantasy, and then Sci-Fi miniatures, and i\'m looking for Freelance sculpters in the UK, or Europe.

Also am interested in anyone who has a sculpt they think is worth producing.

I can offer freemodels for one offs or money depending on quality, size, etc. Please let me know if you are intererested (please bear with me though I am new to this forum)

To clarify when I say free models I mean free copies of your sculpt once cast.

I am especially looking for good fantasy dwarves but will consider anything.

Those interested in working for money, i am looking to get a dwarf range ready first of all, then Goblins.

There are a number of freelancers (both amateur and professional) around. As far as I\'m concerned, I\'d like to ask a few questions so it\'s easier to get an idea of what this is about.

What is your background? Do you already have experience and contacts in the miniature and game industry?
As to your plans, do you have plans to do something special (style, design, game) or are you going for regular style fantasy and SF figures? Do you want people to sculpt to your design? Or is it more like \"anything goes\".
What do you mean with one-offs?


You can also drop a message over at 1listsculpting since there are many sculptors there too.

By the way, you\'re not the only person working on a dwarf army right now. I\'ll drop them a note to let them know. Perhaps they are interested.

Hi, have no experience or contact, have just purchased a small company, with contacts and 40 or so fantasy model range.I am looking to expand the range.

The Sci-fi models will be for an RPG i\'ve been working on. They will probably be to my specification, as will the dwarves due to the fact that I know what I want, eveything else on the other hand will probably be up to the sculpter, though it will have to pass a quality check .

Who else is working a dwarf army then / how to I find them?

thanks for the replies. That makes the situation clearer. Are these figures 28mm?

I\'ve just emailed the dwarf army people who and pointed them to this thread. I can\'t tell you who they are since I don\'t know if I\'m allowed to (I know them since I\'m helping them out) but if they are interested I\'m sure they will contact you.

Be sure to check out the supplier\'s list at 1listsculpting as it contains addresses of casters etc. And if you have business questions you can ask them on the list. There are many professionals around.

OHHHHHH... goblins.


i really like goblins. Like sculpting them, like painting them. But, unfortunatly, i\'m in North America and swamped at the moment. Be sure to post a link once they\'re cast up, i\'d like to see them. (they will be available for purchase over the internet i assume???)

Have a few goblins in the existing range, including a chapion that looks pretty good, will post the website when it\'s up and running, there will be some going on eBay when i\'m ready to go, they will be listed under Blue Ice Games

just incase anyone cares , i have found 2 sculpters so far willing to help, with Dwarves / Evil dwarves and i will be working on these in the comming weeks. Still let me know if you are interested in work.
