Looks like I have a year to paint...

This is supposed to be coming out this time next year, so I guess I better do some painting again now, because my free time will be GONE. Fellow Conan fans, I give you:

looks good, very different than other online RPG\'s because of the strive for realism

but I\'ll stick to World of Warcraft I think :p

So just how addictive are these kinds of games? That is what I am worried about - spending too much time playing. I haven\'t let myself buy a computer game since Diablo 2 because I don\'t trust myself to limit it :)

Yup. That whole not being able to limit myself is the main reason I am happy to be on dialup. With such a bad connection, the temptation isn\'t there.

I have the same problem with my computer speed, Hoblit. I barely can run Photoshop and Winamp at the same time! Plus, it\'s not like school, video games, and other tomfoolery keep me away from painting already! :p

Very :D

I now find myself camping in the WoW Auction House, buying and selling stuff :)

The game aspect is only half of the fun, believe. The other part includes social interaction, economics, etc

Does look good. These games are massively addictive. Someone I know had their wife leave them because of Everquest!

Tell you what, seen as we live in the same town, give me your address and I\'ll stop by occasionally and knock on your door to remind you that the world outside still exists. :D

KMDL1066, Primeval; you guys live in Bloomington/Normal? My wife and I are from Illinois. We got married in Normal. Cool huh?

Not enough time to paint as it is

I\'m with Chrispy, I do 13-hour shifts at night where I work, then go to school full-time during the day; sleep 2-3 hours then back to work. I don\'t have time for beloved little lumps of lead, much less Computer games. Besides, not playing computer games allows me to blame them for my oldest son\'s inattention. Oh yeah, my wife and 3 kids and home DIY take up the remaining hours. Caffeine anyone?

Well I for 1 do not play those games. I don\'t have the time or the money for it and I am on dialup. I also never got the concept that I have to pay $50 for the game and then another $10+ a month just to be able to play it.

@ kmdl1066 - neat to see someone else from this small town! A better way to keep me from the game is to stand outside Best Buy on its release day and if I try to go in, smack me in the knees so I can\'t, otherwise I will buy it and become a hermit playing it!

@ philologus - what brought you to Normal for your wedding?

edit: funny, it took the middle letters of your name and made them a smiley!

My wife was living in Normal, I was in the Army and came back to marry her after just 2 dates. That was over 9 years ago.
You either know or don\'t know.

That is awesome! Not very barbaric of me to like a good love story, but can\'t help it :)

This game could probably help you relax from your hefty schedule in your off-hours, philol.....

Seriously, try and get some sleep.:):)

No offense to the vidgamers out there; I just don\'t have time. Thanks for your concern marineboy; but sleep is for when you take the dirtnap.
