The world is in peril - but then again, when is it not?
This time, the peril comes not from large nations and immense armies, but from smaller and less magnificent forces. Subtle enemies and those that do not appear politically-inclined.
It is the year 123 AD. The world is currently in a stage of rest, after years of struggles, both military and politically. Through battles and wars three Empires have come to dominate the known world. Though each is as powerful as the other, they all have different strengths and weaknesses, which is perhaps why none of the Empires have been able to get the upper hand on the others.
In the east there is the Kingdom bearing the name of its location; the Kingdom of the East. A Kingdom made from the land known as China, it rose up and crushed all who surrounded it, making its way across the world until it was stopped in the east of Italy. Now it faces a threat on either side; half of the Kingdom fights to supress revolts near the heart of the Empire, whilst the other half struggles to gain dominance in Europe and over-throw the other Empires.
In the center of Europe, based in Italy, is the Republic of Rome. The Republic is one of military and political power, balancing each perfectly. With the heart of the Republic, the great city of Rome, located in Italy, the defence of that country has always been one of great importance to the Romans. Now they face a struggle to throw back their enemies; those from the east and those in the north.
Situated in Northern Europe; the Kingdom of Suiona. Descended from the Suiones, this Kingdom is one of pride and military might. Controlling most of Northern Europe its power is great, since it controls the greatest trade routes to the further North, making it a place of wealth, though not as wealthy as some locations. Fighting of both the Republic of Rome and the Kingdom of the East, the Kingdom of Suiona is determined not to let it\'s people down and to take control of all of Europe.
But as theese three Empires fight for dominance, a new threat is growing. In Northern Africa, tribes are rising against their oppressors and forming new rebellions. Some are calling themselves smaller kingdoms. In Brtain rebellions are also being formed, and it seems that the idea of new Empires is one that is spreading quickly. All over the known world people have begun to rise up and create their own armies and Kingdoms, ready to take control and slowly gain dominance.
Is this how the world is to perish? Under the boots of massive Empires and minute Kingdoms? Can any one group gain total dominance, or is the world destined to be forever torn?

... Die for an idea ...
