First of all you need to adjust the white balance of your camera. The 3d picture of the dwarf is much better then the rest.. doesn\'t have the same yellow cast. It is also possible do do it in a program.. but it might change the colours of the mini a bit too.
Lord: I really like the gritty style. It shows expecially on the picture which has descent white balance. The Nmm came out nice, I think it\'s good that you\'re bold with the contrast on it. There are some messier parts where it seems like paint are overlapping onto other parts. Try to define each part and turn the mini under the light and watch for small mistakes. There are also some small parts where it looks like there is chipped paint. He also seem to be standing on his toes which looks a bit wierd.
Ork: Nice and gritty! The way you paint metals suits your style. The brown shading on the skin looks very good as well. I agree that the skin needs more highlighting though.
