Been awhile since my last submission~ Here is my latest commission.

I really tried to see what I could do with a standard "boring" plastic elf archer.

...really nice work on a crumby little plastic trooper! The difference in texture between the blue & grey cloths is particularly impressive. I think perhaps the final highlight on the cloak back could have stopped one shade darker, saving the pure white for the metal only, as you did with the blue. Also his hands are considerably darker than his face. Quality work regardless, thanks for sharing.

Impressive... Most Impressive.

I have many of these miniatures, this is by far the best I have ever seen. Well done... just darn well done. Even the arrow shafts and feathers. Which to me was always the hardest part to paint on those guys. Thanks so much for sharing.

@BPI - His hands are darker because they are gloved, perhaps I didn't use a "leathery" enough shade of brown to make the distinction. Thanks!

Nice one Jeff, I did wonder but was unsure! The sculpt doesn't suggest gloves to me is all

Do you have any non-LotR on the bench at the moment? Your Gallery suggests that a very finely painted Elf army is slowly coming together but I'd like to see your skills on a posh boutique piece rather than another gaming mini, any Studio McVey (for example) releases appeal to you?

BPI - I do have some non LotR projects in the works for Baltimore this year, but as far as non gaming minis I do have a Belpheegor model sittin around waiting to be painted. Good suggestion on the McVey minis, those are some beautiful sculpts! After GD this year I really want to branch out from the GW, so I may have to give one of those a shot irate:
