I assume you are refering to the magazine collection? My brother started getting them, but stopped after a few, i think the minis/pieces were handpainted, but the skill they were done at looked like they could have been painted by a lobster. I was thinking about repainting one, but never got round to it. My brother now uses the pieces bases as display bases for his LoTR GW mini\'s.

But if you arnt talking bout the mag collection, forget all that! lol

I got some junk mail (adverts) that had a FANTASTIC LOTR chess set but sorry, I cant remember who did it. That said, they are out there.............for a pretty penny though.

never, I\'ve seen other people who have collected the figurines and they are god awful.

I made all the pieces for one using GW minis, started the board, screwed it up, lost my temper, smashed the board to pieces.

Now they just sit in a box - unloved

ive seen the add on tv thought ill get 1 or 2 and re-paint them but at £7 each theres other minis to be bought
