I thought id give it try, this is my first attemp.. im not skilled with the photography part. (apologies) but from what you guys can see what areas can i improve on at this stage.

Woo HOo nice work smooth transitions.

You could push the highlights up to pure white, thin your paints and try a glaze medium to get the whites translucent, this will bring out the darker parts of your paint job and really make him pop.

Think where would you put the white highlights also if you focus on the face you could end up with a glowing kinda look.

Thanks for the tips, i have tried and have some realy nice edges and light spots in places. i will prep another model and try again. and then compare the 2

I think the basic green needs more white in it, so the result is more pale. Also try to give it a light situation (zenithal or "glowing" from the inside) to get a Focus. For the ghostly look you need a pale pallette, deep shadows and extreme highlights i think. Hope that helped
