Nice thing about living out in the Northwest is that the microbrew craze hit here pretty hard. There\'s a lot of decent brew pubs and micro/almost macro- brew beers.
As for the rock salt, my parents will mail me some every now and then when we\'re running low. I tell you, there is nothing better on steaks or beef short ribs. Well, maybe there is, but I like my rock salt.
We got a slew of micro-brews around here too, but the best is MINE! I make my own beer, its not all that hard. Some corn sugar, some barley, some hops... oh...and a couple of secret ingredients! Stuff is delishous and knocks you on your A$$. My friends don\'t know I use Champagne Yeast, it triples the alcahol content.
Try rolling your potatoes in the rock salt before you back them, after you taste it the skin will be your favorite part!
